~☼~ How come I always think "Oh, it'll only take me a few minutes to get these presents wrapped" then 2 hours later after I finally finish, I spend another hour cleaning up the mess I made?
~☼~ How come there is always that one person I can't think of a cool present for - and it's not the same person every year?
~☼~ How come I'm always finishing some homemade gift (usually cross stitch) on Christmas Eve no matter how early I started making it?
~☼~ How come I always get a Christmas card from the one person I didn't send one to this year because I haven't been in touch with them for years?
~☼~ How come the month between Thanksgiving and Christmas seems like it is only 4 days long?
~☼~ How come I feel such a compulsion to watch Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer every year as I have since I was 7 years old?
~☼~ How come hearing Linus recite the Christmas story still gives me goosebumps?
~☼~ How come egg nog only tastes good when I drink it from the holly berry glasses I got at Arby's almost 30 years ago?
